By 2024, the programme had reached over 180,000 people across 20 provinces in Argentina.

About the Workshop
The programme was developed by the Centre for Appearance Research at the University of the West of England. It consists of a 45–60-minute session facilitated by educators trained by Bellamente, with the aim of:
- Highlighting dominant beauty stereotypes
- Opening up conversations around body image pressures and self-esteem
- Promoting critical thinking about social media content
- Providing tools to build self-confidence
What do people say about Leaving a Mark?
- In 2024, Leaving a Mark was officially recognised by the Buenos Aires City Legislature as a programme of interest for the Promotion and Defence of Women’s Rights.

- “I loved it. I think it's incredibly important to boost teenagers’ self-esteem, especially in cases where they lack a supportive figure at home who can help them feel secure in their bodies. They often turn to social media for answers, which creates huge insecurities.”
Teacher in Catamarca, 2024

- “I found the initiative really valuable. It helps students reflect on the reasons behind many of their everyday behaviours and thoughts related to social media, and their perception of others.”
Teacher in Entre Ríos, 2024.
